For those of you who have been anxiously awaiting global acceptance of nature vs. nurture so that homophobia will at along last end, your wait may be in vain.
Peter Fedorcsak, the head of one of Norway's two national sperm banks believes that homosexuals are unfit donors partly because they are psychologically unfit and partly because because they carry the gay gene.
He's also concerned that now that Norwegian law provides children of sperm donation the right to know the identity of the donor when reaching 18, it's even more important to turn away homosexuals. Imagine the shock of growing up in a normal healthy home only to discover on your 18th birthday that your biological father is a queer.
Apparently Mr. Fedorcsak believes that gay men are motivated to donate sperm in order to create armies of little homosexuals that will eventually overrun Norway. "The main motivation for a donor must be a desire to help others, not for example, donating sperm in order to spread one's genes," Fedorcsak told a reporter.
Norway's other national sperm bank gladly accepts gay donors so Norwegian women who prefer swaddling their baby boys in pink will still have an option to pick and choose.
And straight guys don't just want to spread their genes?
Peter needs to loosen up. He's running a g*d-damn sperm bank afterall -- not Buckingham Palace.
