I meant to post this tribute to Marilyn Monroe last Friday, August 5. Forty-four years ago on that day, her housekeeper found the star dead in the bedroom of her Brentwood home. For those of you who don't get the connection between this photograph and Monroe...I'm sure someone will post the answer. In the meantime, enjoy some vintage eye candy and share an intimate moment with Marilyn, feel a little of what she felt. Of course, she was able to act on it.
Is that Mister Coffee himself! or the guy who left the roses at her grave. But not Norman....

Is he Joe DiMaggio, one of her husbands?

For the answer, just hover your mouse over the pic, kids.
I wonder what she saw in him.

She saw the father and the father figure that she never had... someone to take care of her and protect her - she got someone who tried to smothered her and not let her be her..
