Was that what I heard? I was volunteering at the local library on Wednesday afternoon and heard some yahoo going on about how homosexuals are obesessed with having sex constantly on NPR. My sister was so upset by it that she called me. The moderator was trying to in vain to indicate that the speaker was expressing a questionable opinion. Questionable my ass. Outrageous!

I'm sorry,

Even as a gay American, I applaude FOX for this intervention. The families have been traumatized enough, and if letting them expose themselves as idiots on Fox radio is the price to pay to let a funeral progress in peace, then I say BRAVO FOX.

In a sick, twisted way...Kelly appears to be right.

I agree with Kelly - in this case, let the creeps be on FOX for an hour rather than defile the funerals of murdered children. Not sure what NPR (comment #1) has to do with this.

I disagree with Kelly.
1) Death is death. All tragic.
2) Where was Fox with their concessions for any other funeral that was protested? Matthew Shephard's? The needlessly dead soldiers'? The SAGO miners'?
3) And wasn't this a basic idea behind the concessions given to Hitler? "Maybe this way we could save someone pain."
Of course that is a bit outrageous; Phelps isn't going to invade Poland. But he will do something bigger, more offensive, and more evil next time.

Sue -- No, that wasn't the Phelpses on NPR, that was Paul Weyrich.

And he was terrifying.

Kyle,

how do you describe an individual who complains that someone else has it better? I call them crybabies. So Fox didn't offer air time at DOZENS of funerals where it would have been appropriate.

They offered it now. Phelp's people have been silenced for this funeral.

YOU can change the radio dial, and even turn it off.

The Amish attending the funeral'S of their CHILDREN cannot change the station.

THE MOST BITTER WORDS I HAVE EVER POSTED FOLLOW....

THANK YOU FOX.
